Cardwell Seafest

Cardwell Seafest is an annual community festival that celebrates Cardwell and showcases our lifestyle on the Cassowary Coast.

It’s a family friendly event with free entertainment and loads of kids activities. Fun for all the family .

Events

• Saturday: Car show on the foreshore
• Saturday Night: Spectacular fireworks, food vans and licensed bar.
• Sunday: Markets and family fun day.
• Pie Eating.
• Prawn Peeling.
• Chuck a Mullet. Crab races.
• Hoolahooping.
• Good old fashioned favourites – egg n spoon and sac races.
• Pirates and mermaids Fancy Dress.
• Captain Jack Sparrow and Ariel the mermaid come to town.

It’s a fun filled weekend of great food, live entertainment… and a licensed bar.
